Welcome Eco-friendly Food Lovers!

Posted on Mar 19th, 2012 • 0 comments

Hi everyone, welcome to the second Eco-friendly Food blog!

We are hoping that this will become a space where everyone can come together to discuss, share ideas and learn some easy ways in which to reduce our food carbon footprint – the more you put in the more we’ll all get out!

Over the last few weeks we have had Nicci and Lara, two QUT Nutrition & Dietetic students working with us. They have helped to co-ordinate the upcoming Eco-Friendly Food (Group) Challenge. Register now. This challenge will run over 4 weeks from Monday, 23 April 2012Lights bulb and aims to provide you with some small changes that you can make to your food-related behaviours that can greatly reduce your carbon footprint. This challenge has been successfully run in the past and that’s why we’re running it again – only this time we’ve made it quicker and easier for you. The feedback we received last time was that people learnt just as much from hearing each other’s knowledge and experiences as they did from completing the challenge activities – that’s why the upcoming challenge in April is a group activity.

For more information on what’s involved check out our website…

We are very excited to have this blog up and running. We look forward to hearing from you…
